  Position  

Officer, Graphic Designing and Communication; Skills Development Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Study design briefs and determine requirement accordingly.
  • Conceptualise and ideate visuals based on requirements.
  • Develop and update communication and IEC materials (Slide decks, e-bulletin, fact sheet, brochure, event report, leaflet for the programme).
  • Support developing social media posts for social media handle and proofread and edit contents.
  • Ensure final graphics and layouts are visually appealing and following branding guidelines and requirements.
  • Support fundraising team in designing and delivering the final product.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Bachelors/Masters in Communication/ Fine Arts/ International Relationship/ Economics/ Management or any other related subject from any recognised university with minimum 2nd division/class or equivalent GPA/CGPA in all academic examinations.

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 06 months of experience in the related field.
  • Practical experience in the area of illustration and graphics is a must.

Additional Requirements:

  • Strong working knowledge on Graphic designing tools including 3D Design, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe InDesign, Content development, Creative Design, Digital Design, Graphic Design (Computer-Aided).
  • Excellent in operating Microsoft Office tools (MS Word, Powerpoint and Excel) and other relevant applications suitable for the role.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with ability to work under pressure in a high volume environment, execute multiple projects while meeting strict deadlines.
  • Should be creative and have the ability to think out of the box.
  • Familiar with advanced presentation tools (Prezi, Canva, Envato elements).
  • Ability to comply with confidentiality expectations specific to sensitive matters or situations as they arise.
  • Knowledge and sensitization on gender and diversity issues is desirable.
