  Position  

Senior Officer, Communication and Documentation, Integrated Development programme (IDP)

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare different need-based reports (Progress report, Annual report, visit report, event report) both MIS and narrative for internal and donor communication along with providing support in proposal development for new partnership development.
  • Ensure visibility of the IP programme through developing IEC materials (brochure, leaflet, poster, Flyer etc.), collecting different case stories, event news, programme facts, lessons, photography etc and take necessary initiatives to publish in BRAC’s internal and external media e.g. Bridge, setu, Prantojon, Workplace, Blog etc.
  • Keep update project document and lessons of IP, check field MIS data and necessary field documents for validation of data through field visit and follow up field activities.
  • Develop various training schedules and contribute to prepare various project related different training module and involve in IDP-IP AOP and budget preparation for the programme including in mid-year budget and AOP revision.
  • Ensure effective communications, knowledge management and Produce reports and stories of the seminars/workshops/conference/meetings organised by the project.
  • Participate in different programme related internal and external meeting, seminar, workshop for maintain liaison with indigenous organizations/associations/youth forum including BRAC others programmes at HO level for building advocacy and network of IP programme.
  • Maintain close collaboration with BRAC IDP communication as well as BRAC communication and other stakeholders for effective coordination.
  • Ensure all training venue, accommodation for participant, prepare participant list when organize training, meeting, seminar, workshop/advocacy for ensuring the programme quality at field and head office level in coordination with BRAC learning division and outside BRAC.
  • Provide technical support to the project team in producing various evaluation and knowledge products of the project.
  • Any other direction that may come from the immediate supervisor.
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme’s goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so.
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters’ Degree in in any discipline from any recognized university

Experience Requirement:

  • At least 2 years’ work experience in related field at local and national level NGOs
