  Position  

Senior Officer, Monitoring and Evaluation, Community Empowerment Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Conduct monitoring and evaluation activities in the respective districts by collecting data
  • Assist to develop M&E indicator, tools and methodologies questionnaires related to data collecting and study
  • Share monitoring findings with respective staffs (FO, PO, DM and RM) and present in the regional meeting
  • Prepare monthly and quarterly monitoring report (with observation & recommendation, if any) and send it to supervisor for presentation
  • Participate in the staff meeting and other forums for updating of the programme
  • Liaison and communicate with all CEP sector and other programmes
  • Ensure the safety of team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation to achieve the programme's goals on safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment
  • Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action
  • Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place, encourage others to do so
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Masters in Social Science/ Statistics/ Development Studies or any other relevant subject from any recognised university with minimum all second class/ division or equivalent GPA/ CGPA in all academic examinations. No third class/ division or below CGPA 2.00 is acceptable

Experience Requirement:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in monitoring sector

Additional Requirements:

  • Have knowledge on monitoring and evaluation system
  • Have knowledge on qualitative and quantitative method of data collection
  • Excellent ICT skills especially in statistical analysis using relevant software packages such as SPSS, STATA, R, GIS, Real-time Data Collection, MS Office (specially Access, Excel)
  • Excellent presentation and report writing skills
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
