  Position  

Position: Manager, Finance and Administration (Contractual), Climate Bridge Trust Fund

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare budgets and monthly accounts reports based on information of fund inflow and outflow
  • Receive quarterly financial reports from all the respective implementing partners, check and verify the reports accordingly and prepare a consolidated financial report to submit to the executive body
  • Record keeping to be done as per BRAC Accounting Manual
  • Assist in evaluation of bids/ budgets
  • Financial monitoring of all implementing partners quarterly by using a specific checklist and provide feedback for immediate remedies
  • Prepare formal report and send to respective implementing partners for corrective actions
  • Inspect the actual financial books and records of the grantee
  Requirements  

Educational Requirements:

  • Master’s in business administration (particularly in finance/ accounting or economics)/ environment science/ international development or any other relevant subjects from any recognised university/ institution

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 7 years of relevant working experience is required in financial/ project management or accounting with national/ international organisation or multinational company or charity with complex donor requirements preferably in the field of climate change and disaster risk reduction

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Demonstrated skills in planning and reporting to relevant authorities including
    external donors
  • Sound knowledge on budget preparation, grants management and financial
    reporting using appropriate software and tools
  • Strong managerial skill with excellent written and oral communication both in English
    and Bangla
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Power Point and using internet based communications
    tools and applications
  Salary and benefits
