Position: Medical Officer; Health Nutrition and Population Programme

Job Description/Responsibilities:

  • Provide consultation for all the patients of VC through teleconsultation
  • Provide guidance to the patients for taking decision on eye surgery and spectacle conversion
  • Check the quality of the patients’ examination by the Ophthalmic Assistants at the VCs
  • Keeping up to date on knowledge and information on clinical issues of eye health care
  • Participate in training on basic eye care for effective support on eye care
  • Ensure patient satisfaction survey

Educational Requirements:

  • MBBS from any recognized University or Institute with minimum 2nd division or equivalent CGPA.

Experience Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Public Health is required.

Additional Job Requirements:

  • Good communication proficiency both in English & Bangla
  • Adequate skills in computer applications, Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
  • Sound Knowledge in public health field

Salary Range: Negotiable
