PSS Officer

Job Context:

BNPS is inviting application from the experienced professionals with proven track record for the position of `PSS Officer’ for its `Empowering Rohingya refugee and host community women through leadership, learning and livelihoods’ Project (at Cox’s Bazar District) for BNPS funded and supported by Oxfam in Bangladesh for One Year.

Location: Cox,s Bazar.

Report to: Project Coordinator

Full-time

Duration: Up to February ’24. (Possible extension)

Education Requirements:

• Master degree in related field (Psychology, Clinical Psychology/ Counselling).

Experience Requirements:

• 03 - 07 years of professional work experience in INGOs/NGOs.
• At least 2 years of work experience with Rohingya and Cox’s Bazar host community in Cox’s Bazar.

Other skills and competences:

• Proven experience to work on MHPSS, MFA, PSEA.
• Strong understanding on gender issues and non-judgemental service providing.
• Clear understanding on power dynamics of social, economic and gender context in community level.
• Good communication, facilitation, presentation and representation skills.
• Willing to travel to the remote areas in communities and work in team context
• Ability to work under pressure and to work in team.
• Capacity to take appropriate initiatives, collaboration and networking for influencing government agencies

Required skills:

• Skills in Report writing, case study writing and data management
• Skills in Ms-word, Ms-excel, PowerPoint and email communication.

Salary: BDT. 40,000 – 45,000/- per month (consoled).
