Job Responsibilities
- Draft the Internal Audit Charter of the organization in line with the best current standards.
- Design internal audit procedures and work programs.
- Identify key areas of risk within the organization and propose appropriate controls to Mitigate the risks.
- Provide top management with an opinion on the adequacy, effectiveness and efficiency of the internal controls in the organization.
- Assist the development of an internal control culture, including training to staff.
- Monitor the trends and developments in the internal audit area.
- Report on internal control issues and the implementation of the internal audit plan to senior management.

Educational Requirements
- MBA/ Masters in Accounting/ Finance / Management.
- CA (CC) is requisite to apply for the position.
- CA partly qualified will be an added advantage.
Experience Requirements
- At least 10-12 year(s)
- The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
Finance, Audit, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
Garments, Group of Companies, Manufacturing (Light Engineering & Heavy Industry)
Additional Requirements
- Expertise in internal audit, risk and control functions.
- Excellent communications and presentation skills.
- Capable of a rigorous analytical approach and result oriented.
- Flexible and stress resistant.
- Ability to organize and prioritize.
- Ability to explain findings and to convince the organization to implement audit recommendations.
- Minimum 12 years' experience with at least 5 years relevant work experience as Head of Internal Audit in any good standing / reputed Textile /garment industrial group.
