Position: Head of Commercial

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle Shipping line and transport related concern authorities for smooth and timely delivery of goods and execution of import & export procedures;
  • Checking & controlling PI & other invoices, packing list & other related documents for exporting/importing of goods/services;
  • Present shipping documents to respective custom stations on time;
  • Custom handling, Export clearance & documentation;
  • Responsible for UD, UD Amendment & Export Order;
  • Collect quotation against specific freight forwarder and prepare comparative statement for specific exportable items.
  • Preparing of all export documents as per buyer's requirement and follow up of export independently for buyers.
  • Ensure preparing all export documents on time.
  • Ensure preparing and renewal all kind of Company Certificates from government authorities.
  • Liaison with Bank, EPB, Shipping Line, Forwarding Agents and others organization related to export and import documentation.
  • Having sound knowledge of Clearing & Forwarding (C&F), Customs Bond rules & regulations etc.
  • Ensure Collecting Bill Of Lading on time & submitting export documents to forwarding agent or Bank to Bank.
  • Follow up Export payment and report to management, If found any delay payment, Push to buyer release.
  • Preparing L/C Closing statement & report to management.
  • Ensure managing yearly Customs Audit claims independently.
  • Must be experienced in Export -Import and Banking.
  • Mainly look after the entire export and import related other activities.
  • Have to make all kinds commercial documents for shipment
  • Regularly monitoring & tracking various stages of Export as well as payment follow-up.
  • Should have Clear knowledge of current rules & regulations of Customs, UCPDC- 600, HS Code, and Inco terms.
  • Ensure handing over relevant documents to Operations for transportation of goods and materials to and from ports
  • Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management from time to time.

Educational Requirements

  • Master of Commerce (MCom), Masters degree in any discipline from reputed university.

Experience Requirements

  • At least 10 to 15 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Garments, Garments Accessories, Textile

Additional Requirements

  • Age 40  to 45 years
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Commercial, Supply Chain, Logistic, Export/ Import through L/C, Store/ Inventory, Freight Forwarding/ C&F, Documentation.
  • The candidate should have a long background of RMG sector with adequate experience in Commercial administration.
  • Must have sufficient knowledge in import & export, Custom clearing & forwarding, negotiate & finalize with authority regarding Customs/Bank/Export /LC/Freight Forwarding/ C & F/ Supply Chain / Custom Bond etc. of Commercial Department of the company.
  • Well communication & Interpersonal skills
  • Should have adequate knowledge in Industry Policy, Import Policy & Export Policy.
  • Adequate knowledge on online booking, preparation and documents submission.
  • Should be a good team leader.
