Preferred Job Description/Responsibility
- Develop and oversee a recruitment process.
- Review job advertisements prior to posting, screen CVs, conduct telephone screening, coordinate interview teams, participate in interviewing candidates and ensure that documentation is collected and recorded filled.
- Oversee all employee engagement for the office and manage the new hire orientation and exit process.
- Annually review the Personnel Handbook recommending amendments needed due to changes in labour laws.
- Manage time sheets for office and leave records, ensuring timely submission, approval accuracy and filling.
- Monitor compensation – ensuring internal equity & compliance and benefits.
- Facilitate job analysis and update job descriptions
- Implement operational policies which are consistent with good practices and conform to national and regional legislation as well as Bangladesh Statutory requirements. Policies to include but not limited to: human resource policy staff development, salary and job grading practices.
- Coordinate with Finance Manager in the preparation of monthly Payroll.
- Salary and benefits administration including management of all statutory deductions and act as the focal point for any issues arising.
- Oversee and coordinate the performance evaluation process
- Rivew employee final payments for accuracy and compliance with labour laws
- Mange the disciplinary process in concert with relevant manager and in accordance with the set guidelines
- Ensure smooth running of all administrative functions in the Head Office
- Evaluate the need for employee training and development and make recommendations
- Oversee the coordination and implementation of annual performance reviews
- Work with senior management to resolve employee relations issues pragmatically
- Investigate employee relation issues and work to ensure human resources related decisions are consistent and fair
- Support project and organizational reporting functions as relevant

- Ensure office day to day operations
- Design, operate, coordinate and monitor operational systems for managing necessary human resource functions to implement the approved policies
- Become fully conversant with Human Resources Plan and facilitate its implementation in the organization
- Identify labor related legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resource function; prepare information requested or required for compliance; act as primary contact with the concerned department of the Government with respect to human resource issues;
- Update position descriptions in the organization according to the need in consultation with the respective line managers
- Maintain employee database, currently in Human Resource Management System
Required:
- Advanced in English language skills both verbal and written communication skills.
- Degree in Human Resource Management or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years’ experience in Human Resources Administration work, with at least 3 years’ experience as a manager
- Strong managerial and leadership skills
- General knowledge of the principles and practices of Human Resources Administration
- Outstanding interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide follow up on a timely basis and keep stakeholders informed of status of projects
- Experience in developing and implementing process improvements
- Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work
- Ability to work independently, and under pressure
- Strong reasoning, decision-making, and sound judgmental ability
- Understanding of labor, taxation law, and other applicable rules and regulations
- Proven integrity and character, especially in the stewardship of resources, transparency and accountability
- Willing to travel and work in the field, as required
- Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and any HR Management database
Additional Job Requirements
- At least 2 years’ experience in same position in Development Organizations-NGOs
- Computer literate: MS Word, Excel, Power Point, and any HR Management database
- Experience in working with worker and trade union will be given preference
- Ability to work with team and independently
- Ability to work under-pressure, meet deadlines, priorities workload and ‘multi-task’
Preferred:
- Advanced degree in a related field, i.e., MBA, Human Resource Management.
- PGD in HRM will get preference
- Good facilitation and negotiation skills
- Cross-cultural working exposure
- Ability to integrate learning opportunities with day-to-day work
Job Nature: Full-Time
Educational Requirements: Graduation in Human Resource Management
Experience Requirements: Minimum 5-7 years.

Salary Range: 60K – 70K
