Post: Project Manager (Total Post: 1)

Qualification & Experience:

  • MBBS/ Public Health/ Masters in any discipline in any recognized University (MPH preferable).
  • Any third division/class in academic career will lead to ineligibility.
  • For medical graduates, minimum 3 Years of experience in relevant field and/or area of health management program.
  • For others, minimum 5 years of experience in relevant field and/or area of health programme management.
  • Ability to work with government, development partners and related stakeholders.
  • Ability to work independently. Strong administrative, organizational and supervision skills.
  • Good oral and written communication skill both in Bangla and English.
  • Excellent computer skill.

Brief on Job Responsibilities:

Planning:

  • Participate in policy and strategy development meetings.
  • Lead the TB team and prepare annual work plan/monthly action plan
  • Support higher management in decision making.

Implementation:

  • Ensure overall implementation of TB Control programme in relevant geographic areas.
  • Ensure identification of missing TB cases as per target in assigned geographic area and prepare plan to overcome.
  • Supervise and provide support for administrative and financial management of the programme.
  • Coordinate timely recruitment, Orientation and deployment of staff.
  • Assess training need and ensure training to concerned staff.
  • Supervise and provide support for proper recording of patients, treatment in line, and updating of TB registers to ensure improved case detection and treatment success.
  • Coordinate and provide support referral of presumptive and complicated cases to designated X-ray and Genexpert sites for diagnosis of missing cases and case management.
  • Analyze monthly progress report, devise plan to reach the target on time.
  • Organize and facilitate monthly and quarterly staff meetings to review progress and develop actions for further improvement of the programme.
  • Ensure availability of anti-TB drugs and other supplies.
  • Attend the project related meetings to get informed on project activities, strategies, policies and goals and seek inputs and directions.

Monitoring, Supervision and coordination:

  • Maintain regular coordination with Government, RBAC, and other stakeholders.
  • Conduct periodic field visits according to plan and to prepare visit report quarterly.
  • Facilitate internal and external monitoring and audit.
  • Facilitate periodic visits by BRAC, NTP, WHO, LFA, The Global Fund and other stakeholders.
  • Supervise and coordinate quality assurance and surveillance system.

Reporting and dissemination:

  • Ensure timely, accurate and complete reporting as per the agreement.
  • Ensure any other report to BRAC and NTP as and when necessary.

Job Location: BKMEA Health Care Center, BSCIC, Narayanganj with frequent field visit.

Gross Salary: Negotiable

Age: Not exceeding 45 Years
