Project Name: Securing Rights of Women Domestic Workers in Bangladesh (SRDW)

Job Location: Dhaka
Salary: Negotiable as per budget allocation within BILS Salary Structure Grade-D: Scale Tk. 35,000 – 86,000 per month.

Requirements:

  • Masters in Social Science
  • Minimum 5 years related job experience for Monitoring and Documentation in same functional area.
  • Standard Computer literate with advanced skill of related software.
  • Must have excellent command on English and Bangla and ability to prepare official correspondences independently.
Job Description / Responsibility:
  • Develop and implement result orient monitoring plan that will ensure tracking of project/ program results at different levels (outputs, outcomes and impact).
  • Ensure that program staff are collecting and reporting on the required/all indicators in a timely manner (according to the M&E framework)
  • Ensure quality data collection for monitoring of the project
  • Periodic monitoring report for the project management indicating the progress/ shortcomings in the project implementation in achieving the project result.
  • Carry out site visits to program activities to ensure that data collection tools are being used correctly.
  • Capture the evidence of the project achievement, best practices and lesson learnt with proper documentation
  • Provide Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) orientations and training to non-M&E staff on data collection tools, MEAL basics,
  • Ensure indicator's tracking, reporting and necessary guidance for improvement.
  • Assist Project Coordinator to prepare project report and in any other activities
  • Support the project inorganizing conferences, seminars, workshops, training etc.
Competencies:
  • Sound understanding on national and global context with theoretical understanding on social change process.
  • Proven working experience in result oriented monitoring of project activities to ensure tracking project/ program results at different levels (outputs, outcomes and impact)
  • Excellent information gathering, presentation, reporting and public speaking skills in Bengali and English.
  • Efficient time management skill, willingness to work within tight deadline and ability to work in complex and diverse working environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skill, problem solving skills, strong value based commitment to right based approach.
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment and to demonstrate gender-sensitive and non-discriminatory behaviour and attitudes.
