Position: Manager - Cost Analysis

Job Context

Manager (Cost Analysis) is responsible for breaking down cost summary into simpler parts, and also study and produce reports on each factor.

Job Responsibilities

  • Carry out product costing, activity costing, promotion campaign costing, value chain costing, target costing, cost benefit analysis etc.
  • Assist to Head of department to Supervising, checking every transaction/voucher entry (Cash, Bank & Journal Voucher) supporting ERP entry on day transaction and reporting daily to reporting supervisor.
  • Monitoring all activities of daily Financial Reporting of respective unit(s) and report to the supervisors in regarding development & implementation policies & procedure for accounting, internal control, financial planning & reporting.
  • Collect and analyze information to determine costs of business activities such as the purchase of raw materials and costs of production process in each factory.
  • Cost control & cost reduction, analyzing Financial Statements/ reports and conduct analysis of comparative changes in financial position and submit summary report to the reporting supervisor.
  • Analyze and prepare reports periodically for the difference between actual production costs and standard costs.
  • Maintain the documentation of data and any statistical arrangement in cost analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of the annual budget to make sure that standard costs for all productions are calculated in line with budget consideration.
  • Provide the management board with reports containing the factors that affect cost or profit of goods and services.
  • Manage timely flow of business intelligence information to users.
  • Any other task provided by the supervisor time to time.

Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements

  • MBA in Finance/M. Com in Cost & Management Accounting
  • CA or CMA (Preferred part qualified)

Experience Requirements

  • 10 to 15 year(s)
  • The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):
    Cost & Management Accounting, Cost and budget
  • The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
    Group of Companies/Electronics Industry

Additional Requirements

  • Age 35 to 45 years
  • Males are allowed to apply
  • Must have good interpersonal and communication skill
  • Have positive mindset and can-do attitude
  • Ensure analysis against Actual Cost Vs Per-cost sheet budget at the time of each purchase
  • Collaboration with various departments particularly with factory under group relating to financial and other issues
  • Have the ability to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Candidates having good computer skills & ERP/SAP experience will get advantage.
