Bangladesh Engineering Industry Owners' Association (BEIOA) is the apex trade body for the development of the Light Engineering sector of the country. Established in 1984, BEIOA is engaged to continual improvement of the sector through skills enhancement, policy advocacy, assist legislation and also assisting to introducing new technologies. Since, 2015 BEIOA has been receiving grants from the Skills for Employment Investment Program (SEIP), Finance Division, Ministry of Finance, Government of Bangladesh for imparting skills development training through its project implementation unit (HU). The objective of the training is to create a pool of skilled work force to improve the performance and product of the industry and workshops that to contribute to the development in the light engineering sector and the country as well.

Position : Trainer- Master Craftsmanship

(Expected to join from 15th September, 2019)

Report to: Coordinator-Training

Job Location: Any district in Bangladesh outside of Dhaka

Overall Job Responsibility
he Trainer of Master Craftsmanship will be wholly responsible for the training and documentation:

1. Training:

  • Demonstrate across a range of TVET Programs on Master Craftsmanship Course•
  • Conduct lessons, lectures and tutorials using teaching methods and develop CBLM according to CBT&A standard and provide support to trainees learning and enhance their knowledge and skill
  • Assessment as required for supporting trainees' progress.

2. Training Management:

  • Assist enrolment, counseling with job placement and induction of trainees, evaluation and other administrative and promotional tasks as required by management to impart the training course
  • Facilitate learning by the selection and development of materials and methods appropriate to trainee needs and course level according to CBT&A standard.
  • Maintain accurate and appropriate records, registers and time tables and make these available on demand to administration and external monitoring personnel and agencies.

3. TMS:

  • Upload all information of trainees (enroll).
  • Upload daily attendance of trainee.
  • Upload trainee certification data
  • Upload Class routine and training schedule

4. Assessment:

  • Collect Assessors Information
  • Assist the assessor in the time of final assessment
  • Support preparing documentation of assessment Adhere to institute guidelines including those relating to equal opportunities, Health & Safety, initial trainee testing, learning difficulties, disciplinary procedures and guidelines.

 

Essential Qualification & Skills:

  • Minimum qualification for Trainer will be B.Sc/Diploma engineering in Mechanical from reputed public/private universities or govt. polytechnic institute based on the course or relevant discipline with minimum 2nd Division/Class at all level.
  • The Trainer should have minimum five years training/industry experience with completion of B.Sc/Diploma in Engineering.
  • BEIOA-SEIP Project will give preference to the trainers those who have teaching/training experience in TVET sector.
  • During selection of Trainers, female and ethnic, socially handicapped candidates etc. to be considered subject to fulfillment of above qualifications and availability.
  • Excellent Communication skills both in English and Bengali.
  • Age limit for the applicant is 25-45 years.
  • Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc
