Job Title: Technical Support Assistant

Monthly Consolidated Salary: BDT 35,000 (Thirty-five Thousand)

Job Description: BdREN is seeking to recruit a Technical Support Assistant on a contractual basis for six months to support Bangladesh Medical University (BMU) in various operational and digital tasks. The role is essential for ensuring smooth student services, digital documentation, attendance and roster systems, website content management, and automation-related processes.

Responsibilities:

•  Student Support Services:
  • Assisting students with routine queries, registration help, academic coordination, and IT-related issues.
  • Supporting digital communication platforms and student services.

•  D-Nothi Support:

  • Providing technical assistance in managing and operating the D-Nothi system.
  • Troubleshooting and escalating issues as needed.

•  Attendance & Roster Management:

  • Maintaining digital attendance records.
  • Assisting in the preparation and management of duty rosters for relevant staff or students.

 Website Content Upgradation:

  • Regularly updating content for various departments and offices on the university website.
  • Coordinating with departments for relevant content and ensuring accuracy and consistency.

•  Appointment & Automation Support:

  • Supporting any appointment scheduling systems.
  • Assisting in digitization or automation processes in administrative and academic activit

Academic Qualifications:

  • Minimum Diploma in Computer Science / Information Technology / ICT / Engineering or a related field. Bachelor's degree preferred.

Professional Qualifications:

  • At least 1-2 years of relevant work experience in technical support, IT operations, or website/content management is preferred.
  • Prior experience in educational institutions or public sector automation projects is an advantage.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage projects from start to finish.

Technical Skills:

  • Familiarity with D_Nothi or other government digital platforms.
  • Basic knowledge of website CMS (Content Management Systems).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite, especially Excel and Word.
  • Basic troubleshooting of hardware/software issues.

Other Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Willingness to work in a dynamic university environment.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Duration & Work Station:

  • This is a contractual position for a period of six (6) months, based primarily at Bangladesh Medical University.
  • The tenure may be extended based on performance and project requirements.
