Red Cross - Red Crescent (RCRC) Movement is the largest volunteer organization in the world. Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) is a national society of the Movement, constituted on 31 March 1973 by the President's Order No. 26 of 1973 with retrospective effect from 16 December 1971. This is the biggest humanitarian organization in Bangladesh. As an auxiliary to the government in the Disaster Management field, BDRCS provides humanitarian assistance to the vulnerable people over the last 50 years and has undertaken a wide range of activities in humanitarian response, disaster management, health, capacity building and in promoting Red Cross/ Red Crescent ideals and principles.

Currently Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is operating Integrated Isolation and Treatment Center (IITC) for Covid-19 cases in Camp area and looking for suitable Bangladeshi nationals for following positions:

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provides complete and Quality Nursing Care.
  • Responsible to deal promptly with patients who are admitted in the hospital.
  • Attend the sick patients and ensuring their safety & security.
  • Plays a key role in identifying health concerns and treatment measures, providing instruction, counseling and guidance to the admitted patients.
  • Attend consultant's rounds and follows instructions.
  • Perform any other related duties or responsibilities that may be assigned by the line manager.

Education:

  • Diploma in Nursing Science & Midwifery recognized by Bangladesh Nursing Council.

Experience:

  • At least 02 (two) years working experience in hospitals, clinics, health centers, general practice, etc.
  • Experience in supporting emergency response, Training on IPC is desired

Qualities:

  • Adhere to the 7 fundamental principles of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement
  • Act at all times in accordance with the Code of Conduct of RCRC Movement
  • Priority will be given to the candidates who demonstrate a high level of motivation and good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Honesty and high level of professional integrity.
