Bangladesh Red Crescent Society (BDRCS) is seeking for application from Individual/team/consultancy firm with specific knowledge and expertise on women economic empowerment, disaster resilience, child protection and Sexual and Gender based Violence (SGBV) to conduct the Final Evaluation of Economic Empowerment of Rural Women (EERW) Program in Bangladesh.
Job Purpose:
The purpose of the final evaluation will be to measure the relevance, efficiency, effectiveness, timeliness and sustainability of the components of the Economic Empowerment of Rural Women (EERW) Program in light of the women economic empowerment and reducing SGBV perspective. Further the evaluation will assess the performance of EERW program and capture the achievements, challenges, best practices, key lessons and recommendations of the program to improve future women empowerment programs of BDRCS and IFRC. It will also be a significant advocacy document for further program development, strategic planning and policy making in the area of women economic empowerment and women livelihoods, SGBV and resilience. The evaluation will also identify challenges, best practices, key lessons, and recommendations to improve livelihoods focused women empowerment programs of BDRCS and IFRC in future. The findings of the evaluation must be exemplary so that the success of EERW program can be shown as an evidence of economic empowerment of rural women among different stakeholders around the world.

Education Requirements:
University degree at post-graduate level in Social Sciences/Disaster Management/Anthropology/Development Studies/Gender Studies/Studies/another relevant subject.
Experience:
- Proven experience of conducting Mid-Term Review and Final Evaluation specifically in the field of women empowerment, livelihoods, Gender, SGBV and resilience.
- Strong knowledge on KoBo Toolbox for data collection.
- Proven experiences in fieldwork, and monitoring and Evaluation
- Proven competence in managing quantitative data and statistical issues.
- Proven track record of conducting qualitative research including the development of interview schedules and qualitative data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and presentation skills.
- Experience in providing to training local staff for field data collection.
- Strong computer skills in spreadsheet, word processing, database management and statistical analysis software familiarity (SPSS, Stata)
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent in English and Bangla writing and presentation skills.
- Immediate availability for the period indicated.
- Experience working with RCRC Movement.
- Well acquainted on disaster management structure of local government and experience to work with local government institutes.
