Vacancy Announcement

The Bangladesh Country Coordinating Mechanism (BCCM) is a multi-sectoral national body that is mandated by the Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria to oversee Global Fund financing that supports and complements Bangladesh’s national responses to these three major diseases. BCCM Secretariat invites applications from eligible candidates for the following position:

A) Position:  Consultant - Mapping and Positioning (One Position) 

Required Qualifications: Minimum Master Degree in Social Sciences with Master’s in Public Health; or MBBS with Master’s in Public Health. For detail, please refer to the ToR available on BCCM Website (www.bccmbd.org).

Age Limit:  45 to 65 years (as of closing date of application)

Consultancy Fees:  USD 5,200 for Positioning and + USD4800 for Mapping=Total U$D 10,000/- (To be paid in Bangladesh Taka as per average conversion rate of bank transfers to BCCM Bank account during 2022). Payment will be made based on submission of deliverables divided into six months of assignment. Tax and VAT will be deducted as per government rule.

Assignment Duration: 06 months from the signing of agreement (no possibility of extension)

B) Position:  Consultant-Pre and Post Meeting Orientation of Civil Society Constituencies (One Position)

Required Qualifications: Minimum Master Degree in Social Sciences with Master’s in Public Health; or MBBS with Master’s in Public Health.  For detail, please refer to the ToR available on BCCM Website (www.bccmbd.org).

Age Limit:  45 to 65 years (as of closing date of application). Candidates from Key Affected Populations (KAP) are encouraged to apply with required qualifications.

Consultancy Fees: USD 4,800 for training (pre and post BCCM Meetings Orientation) for the CSO Constituencies for 3 months (To be paid in Bangladesh Taka as per average conversion rate of bank transfers to BCCM Bank account during 2022). Payment will be made based on the submission of deliverables divided into 3 months. Tax and VAT will be deducted as per government rule.

Assignment Duration: 03 months from signing of the agreement (possibly June 2023-August 2023) (no possibility of extension). It can be quarterly one month assignment pre and post CCM meeting period.

C) Position:  Coordination Officer (One Position)

Required Qualifications: Minimum Master Degree in Social Sciences with Master’s in Public Health; or MBBS with Master’s in Public Health. For detail, please refer to the ToR available on BCCM Website (www.bccmbd.org).

Age Limit:  Up to 45 years (as of closing date of application).

Gross Salary: BDT 75000/= per month (Seventy-Five Thousand Taka per month) (Consolidated inclusive of all benefits according to BCCM governance manual)

Duration: Till 31st December 2023 with possibility of extension till December 2025
