Bang Jin group (Geo-textile Unit) is seeking a responsible, hard-working General manager for its Geo-textile and fiber factories at Sreepur, mawna, Gazipur to oversee the day-to-day operations of its manufacturing facility. The factory is continuously expanding to enhance its capacity for geotextile production and to establish the largest PS fiber unit of Bangladesh.

As a factory general manager, the incumbent will be expected to create and foster a culture of continuous improvement across the engineering and manufacturing teams. He will also lead all factory staffs to ensure targeted production. In addition, he would be responsible for mitigating manufacturing risks and running production in most efficient manner.

Job Location: Sreepur, Mawna, Gazipur

Mandatory Requirement: Prior experience in managing factories with 300+ workers. Background in technical textile, spinning manufacturing or in heavy industry is required. Strong interpersonal skills and managing large teams.

Job Responsibilities

• Look after the overall Geo-textile, PP and PS fiber production
  
• Make production plans on regular basis and ensure optimum productivity of all products
  
• Undertake the project leader’s role in commissioning new plant/ machineries,
  
• Execute the plans and reach the production target set by the company
  
• Coordinate with various departments to ensure that the production related raw material and related other accessories are arranged well in advance
  
• Work closely with Quality Assurance department to ensure the required standard

Educational Requirements

• Preferably B.Sc in EEE/ Mechanical, or Management Graduate preferably MBA from reputed University

Additional Requirements

• At least 20 years’ experience in manufacturing companies at factory level
  Strong operational experience with the ability to establish and measure KPI's.
