Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and detail-oriented Barista to join McDonald’s Saudi Arabia (RICC). The role focuses on welcoming customers, understanding their coffee preferences, preparing and serving beverages according to McDonald’s standards, managing inventory and equipment, and maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic coffee bar while delivering a consistently high-quality customer experience.

Job Responsibility

• Welcomes customers by determining their coffee interests and needs.
• Educates customers by presenting and explaining the coffee drink menu; answering questions.
• Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks as per the McDonald’s Standards, such as expresso, café latte, and cappuccino.
• Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies, pastries, and cookies for coffee bar.
• Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs
• Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.

Additional Requirements

• At least 2 years’ experience in the coffee shop field
• High school diploma: relevant training is a plus
• English/ Arabic speaker.
• Knowledgeable of the type of coffee beans, aromas & equipment functionalities
• Hands-on experience with brewing equipment
• Listening, Verbal Communication, Customer Focus, Customer Service, Basic Safety, People Skills, Action Oriented, Organization, Selling to Customer Needs, Attendance, Client Relationships
• Valid Passport (minimum 1-year validity).
• Good English communication skills (Reading & Writing).
• Must pass SVP test after selection for visa application.
• Minimum contract period: 2 years (renewable upon mutual agreement)
• Candidates previously block listed in Saudi Arabia are not eligible.
• Candidates with previous GAMCA medical unfit status are not allowed.
• Candidates must not have any visible marks, scars, or spots on the face or hands.
• Selected candidates are required to maintain a clean-shaven appearance.
