1. Position Description:

BAIUST invites applications from dynamic, qualified, and committed individuals for the position of Lecturer (Physics) in the Department of Science and Humanities. The successful candidate is expected to demonstrate excellence in teaching, research, academic leadership and service to both the university and the broader academic community.

2. Key Responsibilities:

  1. Teach undergraduate courses that meet the curricular needs of the university with particular emphasis on fundamental education in all areas of Physics.
  2. Ensure that teaching content is appropriately informed by current research.
  3. Collaborate with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the Department’s programs.
  4. Work in accordance with University policies and procedures to undertake assessment of students’ work.
  5. To contribute to research through high quality publications.
  6. Carry out specific departmental roles and functions as may reasonably be required.
  7. Any other duties assigned by the University Authority.

3. Academic Qualification and Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Honors and Masters with major in Physics from a reputed University.
  2. At least 03 First Class/Division/A Grades (Not below CGPA 3.5 at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels).

Additional Requirements:

  1. Experience candidates will get preference.

4. Salary and Benefits:

  1. Salary: As per University Policy (Lecturer-Grade 9).
  2. Other Benefits: Gratuity, Provident Fund as per university policy.
