1. Position Description & Key Responsibilities:

BAIUST solicits applications for the post of Admin Officer (Procurement, Logistic & Admin) under the Registrar's Office (Admin). The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  1. Liaison with offices, department on logistics and protocol matters.
  2. To provide logistic support as per requirement of the office and Academic department.
  3. Maintains administrative and logistical files with necessary confidentiality where required.
  4. Draft policies or procedures for effective logistics management and all Admin related activities of the University.
  5. Ensure the organizational procurement policies, procedures and implementation.
  6. Monitor supplier performance to assess ability to meet quality and delivery of Admin requirements.
  7. Work closely with colleagues, including those in Finance, HR and Faculties, to ensure coordination on relevant issues.
  8. Responsibility for the continuous improvement of office management, operation systems and procedures, to enhance the quality and effectiveness of service provision to the institution.
  9. Verifies the monthly vehicles report and preparation of the logistics monthly report.
  10. Oversees and ensures proper maintenance and management of vehicles and drivers e.g. repair, maintenance, monthly mileage check, usage purposes as well as licenses and insurance coverage.
  11. Any other related jobs as assigned by the University authority.

2. Academic Qualification and Requirements:

Essential:

  1. Master’s degree in any discipline from any reputed Public Universities, Army Universities or reputed private Universities.
  2. Experienced candidates in the relevant field will be given preference.

  1. As per the University’s Service Policy (Admin Officer (Procurement & Logistic) - Grade 09.
  2. Other Benefits: Gratuity, Provident Fund as per university policy.
