Position Title: Lecturer (Economics)

1. Position Description: BAIUST solicits applications for the post of Lecturer (Economics) under the Dept. of Business Administration. The successful candidate will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Teach undergraduate courses that meet the curricular needs of the university with particular emphasis on fundamental education in all areas of Economics.
• Ensure that teaching content is appropriately informed by current research.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the continuous review and development of the Department’s programs.
• Work in accordance with University policies and procedures to undertake assessment of students’ work.
• To contribute to research through high quality publications.
• Carry out specific departmental roles and functions as may reasonably be required.
• Any other duties assigned by the University Authority.

2. Academic Qualification, Experiences and other requirements. The candidate must have following:

• Honors (4 years) and Masters with major in Economics from any reputed University.
• Must have achieved at least 03 x First Class/Div/A Grade (Not below CGPA 3.5 at undergraduate and postgraduate level) in the entire educational qualification.
• Experience candidates will get preference.
