Responsibilities & Context
We are a reputed IATA-accredited travel agency in Bangladesh, providing comprehensive travel solutions to our clients. With a strong focus on service quality and customer satisfaction, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced GDS Expert to lead our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle air ticket reservations, re-issuance, refunds, and cancellations using GDS systems (Amadeus / Galileo / Sabre).
- Communicate with airlines and clients to confirm bookings and resolve issues.
- Prepare itineraries, fare quotes, and travel documentation accurately.
- Maintain daily sales and booking reports.
- Assist customers with visa, hotel, and tour package information as needed.
- Ensure high-quality customer service and support to clients.
Requirements
Education
- Bachelor/Honors
- Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Tourism, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related field).
Additional Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a travel agency,
- Strong knowledge of IATA procedures and GDS systems (Amadeus, Galileo, or Sabre).
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Customer-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
- Proficiency in English and Bangla.
