Updating and Developing Case Management Software for Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK)

Background

ASK is inviting proposal for developing a Case Management software with an aim to make better follow-ups of cases, including client consultations and court events, reporting, etc.The software will have the ability to process multiple clients with multi layered access to front end as well as to back end. Both options are open for the development for the software - onsite or offsite.

Scope of work

  • Undertake an assessment of the existing case management system and provide report
  • Compare the case management system with other organizations case management system and propose a standard case management system for legal aid programme
  • Develop a new litigation case management system and upgrade/review existing case management system of mediation
  • Design and develop digital case management system including role-wise credential system incorporation for better user role management
  • Trouble shooting of case management software and existing monthly reporting system
  • Provide training to key staff

3. Development of case management system (client profile, services, case stories etc.)

6. Knowledge transfer through workshop/Training
7. Source code & database including back-up system
8. Project Completion report including upcoming challenges if any

Required Capability of the Team/Company: The interested team/company must have sufficient knowledge and proven experience in database designing of case management and/or other software’s. With an existing portfolio of case management software for any country/market will be added advantage.

Required Team Profile: The team must have the required number of qualified personnel to design, plan, develop and deliver the project as per the final agreement.

Environments/ Language: Interested teams will come up with their own ideas/preferences based on their reasoning to use the respective language and database for the project.

Child Protection Policy: The team/company shall comply with the Child Protection Policy of ASK. Any violation/deviation is in complying with ASK's child protection policy will result in termination of the agreement.  

General terms and conditions:

  • ASK reserve the right to accept or reject any proposal without giving any verbal and/or written rationale.
  • All reports and software prepared during the assignment will be treated as ASK property.
  • The reports/ software or any part, therefore, cannot be sold, used and reproduced in any manner without prior written approval of  ASK;
  • ASK or its representatives reserve the right to monitor the quality and progress of the work during the assignment.

Terrorism and money laundering issues: If there any proof of engagement in any terrorism and money laundering issues, ASK reject the proposal without assigning any reason

Application Procedure: ASK invites proposal from a consulting firm/agency/organization/expert individual/team. Include lead consultant and team members' brief CV highlighting related assignments completed and roles in of the completed assignments; organization’s/Firm’s documents, TIN and VAT registration and two sets of documents in favor of the previous relevant work. A complete technical and financial proposal in English, including detailed cost per major activities. The technical and financial proposal should be submitted in two separate envelopes. These two envelopes are then to be put in one larger envelope, which must be sealed; with a cover letter addressing the Executive Director, Ain o Salish Kendra, 2/16, Block-B, Lalmatia, Dhaka-1207, Bangladesh. The proposal to be submitted at ASK office not later than 16 November, 2019.
