Job Description / Responsibility
- Coordinate overall activities of local Children, Adolescent and Youth Groups, increase their awareness and capacity and assist them to protect and promote human rights and gender issues at the community level.
- Plan activities of Children, Adolescent and Youth Groups and training programs, distribute assignments and supervise all field activities as well as other program activities and check reports.
- Maintain liaison with local Administration, Children, Adolescent and Youth Groups, local CBOs, and cultural Groups.
- Planning, supervision and dealing with the accounts and administration;
- Developing a communication strategy, designing, coordinating, and implementing campaigns to advocate for, promote, and advance Child Rights;
- Responsible to deal with accounts and admin-related tasks to ensure necessary support for staff & PNGO to run the planned program effectively.
- Prepare periodic reports, and maintain files, records, and other related documents.
- Participate in meetings, seminars, training, workshop etc. and represent ASK, if necessary
- Maintain liaison with another program for inter-outcome collaboration.
- Organize and conduct monthly meetings with concerned staff to coordinate plans, evaluations and feedback on the program.
- Supervise and monitor program implementation.
- Responsible for field staff management.
- Maintain effective liaison with cultural groups of ASK
- Special capacity in facilitation, communication and training.
- Any other work required by the ASK management.
Job Nature: Full-time / Contractual
Educational Requirements:
- Applicant must have a master’s degree in sociology, gender studies, political science, economics, development studies, or legal studies and human rights or other closely related subjects in social sciences;
Experience Requirements:
- 05 years of experience in the related field (of at least 2 years in a Managerial Position).
Additional Job Requirements:
- Experience in the area of NGO sector;
- Experience in project management of multi-year, large-scale donor funded projects from design to implementation;
- Experience in similar projects will get preference;
- Good communication and interpersonal skill;
- Good computer skills on Microsoft Office Tools, especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
- Proficient spoken and written English language skills and the capacity to produce quality reports independently;
- Should have good knowledge of accounting system
- Fluency both in Bangla & English.
- Should have the ability to handle pressure.
