Job Responsibility:
- Overall management and coordination of the project;
- Prepare monthly work plan and implement all planned activities;
- Plan advocacy initiatives (National, Regional and UN level) on Child Rights and implement those initiatives;
- Planning, supervision and dealing with the accounts and administration;
- Developing a communication strategy, designing, coordinating, and implementing campaigns to advocate for, promote, and advance Child Rights;
- Proactive and regular communication with all partners through monthly virtual meetings or any other means;
- Ensure timely, quality and accurate reporting to management and donor(s) on a regular basis based on the Project Monitoring & Evaluation framework;
- Active participation in the implementation of activities within the projects implemented by organization and participation in meetings, workshops, trainings, research, advocacy, preparation of reports to various bodies, etc.
- Mandatory traveling outside Dhaka, visiting working area or field for project purposes if required.
Educational Qualifications:
- Applicant must have master’s degree in sociology, gender studies, political science, economics, development studies, international relations or legal studies and human rights or other closely related subjects in social sciences;
Additional Requirements:
- Experience in the area of NGO sector;
- Experience in project management of multi-year, large scale donor funded projects from design to implementation;
- Experience in similar projects will get preference;
- Good communication and interpersonal skill;
- Good computer skills on Microsoft Office Tools, especially MS Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint;
- Proficient spoken and written English language skills and the capacity to produce quality reports independently;
Age limit: Age at most 45 years (Age may be considered for experienced candidate)
Experience and skill:
- Minimum 10 years’ working experience in the relevant field and 5 years on managerial or coordinator level.
