Relationship Manager/ Sr. Relationship Manager, Corporate Banking

  • Meet Budget Target via maximizing limit utilization, enhancement of limit, restructuring of credit facilities, and booking of new relationship from existing & new customer base
  • Explore market for new Business opportunities and report to Line Manager for potential leads that fits into Bank’s Business Policy.
  • Retain & Grow Business of existing good customers through delivering superior customer services, identify their credit needs and accommodate facility at the earliest possible time.
  • Monitor account and report any credit risk issue, if any, to the line manager for further course of action
  • Raise Early Alert with discussion with line manager whenever it is necessary
  • Ensure customer comply with credit policy, regulatory requirement, and covenant & conditions advised in the sanction letter
  • Regular call & visit customer to monitor client’s business performance
  • Structure products and credit facilities in line with customer business requirement and industry practice
  • Ensure insurance, collateral & other security coverage from customer against credit facility with sufficient coverage and enforceability 
  • Monitor competitor, industry, economy & regulatory updates that might have adverse impact on client’s cash flow and business operation 
  • Manage risk through developing and implementing account strategy and exit recurring overdue accounts and probable classified accounts as per Bank’s risk policy
  • Mentor and develop Relationship Manager & Financial Analyst to make them more knowledgeable in financial products and services
  • Develop leadership attributes and team management skills to eventually become Head of Business Unit in future


  • Minimum Masters, preferably in Business Administration/Banking and Finance/ Marketing/ Management/ Economics, from a reputed university
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience for Relationship Managers and 6 years’ experience for Senior Relationship Managers, in Bank/ NBFI or Investment Company with knowledge of corporate markets and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation and communication skill
  • Strong English communication skills (oral and written)
  • Thorough knowledge of MS Office package
  • Ability to work under stress and adaptive to changes
  • Ability to work in and contribute to team building environment
