Officer/ Associate Manager/ Manager, Software QA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Developing and documenting test plans, test cases, scripts for developed software products involving both back-end processing systems and front-end Web-based GUIs for financial industry.
• Preparing data as required for large volume data validation.
• Executing functional, integration, regression, performance, and resiliency tests for multiple applications/subsystems.
• Establish and track quality assurance metrics.
• Utilize open source or commercial test tools.
• Perform the automation of regression test cases.
• Hands-on experience using automated testing tools
• Experience with software engineering standards, metrics and QA principles.
• Experience in Agile and Waterfall testing
• Ensure quality of quarterly software releases

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor of Science (BSc) or Master of Science (MSc) in Computer Science (CS) from a reputed university.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in Quality Assurance.  Experience in Financial industry is preferable
• Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test procedures
• Experience testing Unix/Linux based applications
• Experience using testing tools for UI and performance testing
• Experience using JIRA
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test procedures
