The Asia Foundation (TAF) is seeking an experienced Team Leader to lead its new six-year Building State Effectiveness and Accountability (BSEA) program, funded by FCDO. The program aims to strengthen public sector effectiveness, accountability, and institutional capability through adaptive, politically informed, and locally driven reform.
The Team Leader will provide strategic leadership, ensure high-quality program delivery, maintain strong relationships with FCDO and government stakeholders, oversee adaptive programming, supervise senior staff, and coordinate closely with partners and TAF units.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor's degree minimum (advanced degree preferred)
- 10+ years of senior leadership/management experience in governance, public policy, or public sector reform
- Strong understanding of Bangladesh's governance systems and policy processes
- Experience working with government, civil society, private sector, and major donors (FCDO/USAID/DFAT/World Bank/ADB preferred)
- Expertise in adaptive management, political economy analysis, GESI, and program implementation
- Excellent English communication skills
