Seeking proposal for developing and promoting audio-visuals/video documentation of pot song performance on realization, reduction and redistribution on Unpaid Care Work (UCW) and awareness and reduction of Domestic Violence (DV) through Youtube, cable TV channels and other social media channels

Among its various development initiatives, the Foundation has been supporting the promotion of women’s economic rights and women in leadership role in Bangladesh. Funded by the Embassy of Sweden, iDE and The Asia Foundation have partnered to implement the Women’s Economic Empowerment through Strengthening Market Systems (WEESMS), a five-year project (2016-2021) that aims to provide greater opportunities for women in Bangladesh labor market across rural and peri-urban areas of Rangpur and Khulna Divisions of Bangladesh.

The Foundation is seeking proposals from reputed consulting firm or organization to develop 2 separate audio-visuals/video documentation of pot song performance on realization, reduction and redistribution of Unpaid Care Work (UCW) and awareness and reduction of Domestic Violence (DV) and promote through Youtube, cable TV channels and other social media channels. Interested consulting firms/organizations are requested to submit applications via email to country.bangladesh.jobs@asiafoundation.org, at the latest by local time in Dhaka 4:00 pm on September 22, 2020. Only shortlisted consultants will be contacted. 

The application should consist of:   

  1. Technical proposal, that includes the following: 
    1. Consulting firm/organizations information: Name of the contact information of person responsible for the proposal including email address, postal address and phone number; web address (if available); 
    2. Relevant Experience: Information on the history of the consulting firm/organization and its work related to develop audio-visuals using folk media for rural community 
    3. Samples of past work addressing
    4. CVs of key team members  
  2. Financial proposal with a budget around BDT 5,000,000 that outlines the fees and associated costs including stationery, supplies. The consultant firm must budget for all relevant costs (including Tax/VAT) and provide explanatory notes.
