QEHS Executive

Job Location: Gazipur

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensure that the organization’s Quality Management System conforms to customer, internal, ISO 9001, ISO 22000 and regulatory/legal requirements.
  • Ensure evaluation of, and reporting on, vendor quality systems through audits.
  • Have through knowledge on laboratory testing (analytical & microbiological).
  • Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories.
  • Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
  • Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints.
  • Enhances department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
  • Manage the monitoring, measurement, and review of internal processes, especially those that affect the quality of the organization’s products.
  • Lead a team of Quality supervisor and analyst.
  • Report to management on the performance of the QMS (e.g., results of quality KPI’s, corrective actions), including the need for improvement.
  • Conduct periodic management review meetings.
  • Overall monitoring the third-party pest control activity on the plant.
  • Responsible for accuracy and timely inspection/calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
  • Keep up on standards, regulations/laws, issues, and news with respect to product (service) quality
  • Prepare internal SOP’s based on Quality & Safety Standards.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Females are HIGHLY Encouraged to apply.
  • Understand process operation, mixing & filling-packing operations and best practices
  • Understand components of total cost of production and factors to influence it.
  • Understand Food Safety & Hygiene. QMS, HACCP.
  • Know relevant statutory, company and factory standards, rules and procedures
  • Understand health, safety and environmental principles
  • Effective communication both verbal and written
  • Computer Knowledge (Specially on Ms excel) to generate reports on need basis.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • B.Sc. Engineering (Chemical) /B.Sc. in Microbiology /B.Sc. in Chemistry from any reputed Public University/Private University.
  • 0 to 2 years’ experience in production or quality functions in Chemical/FMCG industry.
  • Should have knowledge on specific product and technology know-how.
  • Should have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
