Warehouse Executive

Job Location: Gazipur

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Strategically manages warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.
• Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
• Plans, coordinates and monitors the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods.
• Sets up layout and ensure efficient space utilization and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, make sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met.
• Manages stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
• Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
• Keeps stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.
• Produces regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis on IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.
• Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
• Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
• Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
• Oversees the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
• Responds to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone and liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
• Receives feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

• Understand components of total cost of warehouse and factors to influence it.
• Understand Food Safety & Hygiene. QMS, HACCP, FEFO, Traceability, Stock control.
• Know relevant statutory, company and factory standards, rules and procedures.
• Understand the standard costing calculation for a product.
• Effective communication both verbal and written.
• Computer Knowledge (Specially on Ms excel) to generate reports on need basis.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in finance/ BBA from any reputed Public/Private University. (MBA is preferred)
• 0 to 2 years’ experience in Warehouse functions in Chemical/Pharmaceutical/FMCG industry.
• Specific Supply chain, logistic/ ISO trainings.
• Should have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
