To strengthen our continuous business growth ambition in Bangladesh, Arla Foods is currently looking for an energetic and strategic individual for the position of Warehouse Executive.
Warehouse Executive
Job Location: Konabari, Gazipur
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Strategically manages warehouse in compliance with company's policies and vision.
- Maintains receiving, warehousing, and distribution operations by initiating, coordinating, and enforcing program, operational, and personnel policies and procedures.
- Plans, coordinates and monitors the receipt, order, assembly and dispatch of goods.
- Sets up layout and ensure efficient space utilization and mechanical handling equipment efficiently, make sure quality, budgetary targets and environmental objectives are met.
- Manages stock control and reconcile with data storage system.
- Maintains physical condition of warehouse by planning and implementing new design layouts; inspecting equipment; issuing work orders for repair and requisitions for replacement.
- Keeps stock control systems up to date and make sure inventories are accurate.
- Produces regular reports and statistics on a daily, weekly and monthly basis on IN/OUT status report, dead stock report etc.
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.
- Maintains warehouse staff job results by coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results.
- Safeguards warehouse operations and contents by establishing and monitoring security procedures and protocols.
- Oversees the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
- Responds to and deal with customer communication by email and telephone and liaise with clients, suppliers and transport companies.
- Receives feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
- Understand components of total cost of warehouse and factors to influence it.
- Understand Food Safety & Hygiene. QMS, HACCP, FEFO, Traceability, Stock control.
- Know relevant statutory, company and factory standards, rules and procedures.
- Understand the standard costing calculation for a product.
- Effective communication both verbal and written.
- Computer Knowledge (Specially on MS excel/PowerBI) to generate reports on need basis.
KEY QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in finance/ BBA from any reputed Public/Private University. (MBA is preferred).
- 0 to 2 years’ experience in Warehouse functions in Chemical/Pharmaceutical/FMCG industry.
- Experience in Warehouse SAP Operation is preferred.
- Specific Supply chain, logistic trainings.
- Should have strong leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
