To strengthen our continuous business growth ambition in Bangladesh, Arla Foods is currently looking for an analytical and strategic individual for the position of Assistant Manager/Manager – Food Service & Key Accounts.

Assistant Manager/Manager - Food Service & Key Accounts

Job Location: Dhaka

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set the direction & ambition for the business units together with Head of Sales.
  • Developing and structuring the Foodservice operations - channel wise strategies and communication to effectively manage the various channels & customers;
  • Building up + acquiring in-depth product knowledge on Cheese, Butter, Cream & Others and Food Service expertise.
  • Manage import of goods through local distributor in coordination with Denmark HQ and Regional Office.
  • Assess Market potential and collaborate with Arla Foods Global/Regional build up the product portfolio.
  • Develop & Execute on Channel Strategy, Marketing Plans & Engagement Strategy.
  • Build effectively relationships in the Foodservice community and good market intelligence - Identify areas of opportunity Managing Acquiring and of new (larger) customers/accounts.
  • Further structure Modern Trade operations, performing Joint Business Planning and optimizing promo spend
  • Ensure effective forecasting, performance tracking and (monthly) business review.
  • Generate reports and review sales, and other performance reports including key customers.
  • Monitor Distributor`s debt and ensure payment terms are respected & minimize bad returns.
  • Ensure optimized setup & way of working for the E-com Channel- together Modern Trade & Key Accounts Executive.
  • Ensure Executives are properly trained, provide permanent coaching by on-the-job sessions and feedback on performance and conduct regular appraisal interview.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum BBA Graduate (MBA is preferred) with major in Marketing.
  • 5-7 years of experience in FMCG Sales industries, experience in Food Service and Modern Trade is preferable.
  • Good Analytical, Communication and Negotiation Skills are required.
  • Self-Driven and People Management skill
  • Excellent business/entrepreneurial instinct
