Educational Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering (EEE)/ Computer Science & Engineering (CSE)/ Electronic and Telecommunication Engineering (ETE)/ Information and Communication Technology (ICT)/ Electrical, Electronics, and Communication Engineering (EECE) from any reputed university of Bangladesh.

• Database Management Systems (DBMS): Proficiency in one or more major RDBMS platforms such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or DB2. Also, Knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB, Cassandra, or CouchDB if applicable to your environment.
• Database Design & Architecture: Experience in database design, modeling, normalization, and schema creation. Skills in designing highly available and scalable database architectures. Familiarity with database partitioning, clustering, and sharding for scalability.
• Performance Tuning & Optimization: Expertise in query optimization, performance tuning, and indexing strategies. Ability to monitor and optimize database performance using tools like Oracle AWR, SQL Profiler, or SolarWinds Database Performance Monitor. Experience with database caching, replication, and load balancing.
• Backup & Recovery: Knowledge of backup and recovery strategies, including point-in-time recovery and disaster recovery planning. Experience with backup tools like RMAN (Oracle), Data Guard, Veeam, or Commvault. Proficiency in implementing high availability solutions like clustering, mirroring, and failover.
• Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of database security, user permissions, and roles management. Experience in securing data with encryption, access controls, and auditing. Familiarity with compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, PCI-DSS) and data privacy regulations.
• Scripting & Automation: Ability to write scripts for database automation using SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, or scripting languages like Python, PowerShell, or Bash. Knowledge of tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef for database configuration management and automation.
• Monitoring & Maintenance: Skills in database monitoring using tools like Nagios, Zabbix, Prometheus, SQL Monitor, or pgAdmin. Experience with capacity planning, storage management, and database maintenance tasks.
• Data Migration & ETL: Experience with data migration projects, including upgrading database versions and migrating between platforms. Knowledge of ETL tools (Extract, Transform, Load) like Informatica, Talend, SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services), or Pentaho.
• Troubleshooting & Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills for diagnosing and resolving database issues. Ability to handle complex database outages and implement effective root cause analysis.
• Certifications & Experience: Relevant certifications such as Oracle Database Administrator Certified Professional (OCP), Microsoft Certified: Azure Database Administrator Associate, MCSA: SQL Server, MongoDB Certified DBA, or AWS Certified Database - Specialty.

Salary & Criteria

• Salary range 30,000-80,000 (Salary will be fixed based on experience and skill)
• Age below 35 years.
• Candidates must have mindset to be employed for long term (at least for 5 to 7 years)
