Manager – Merchandising
(Woven Garments)

  • Professional Requirements: Supervise the merchandising teams’ activities in the entire order process to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery. Initiate marketing strategies to portray the image of the company, in the relevant business circles as an organization of reputation for excellence in manufacturing to attract new businesses. Build, develop and maintain relations with potential and new customers, and relevant external parties to monitor levels of satisfaction, and continuously take measures to enhance customer service. Oversee bid participation, negotiation with buyers and order confirmation in terms of price, quality & lead-time. Establish product development and cost strategies to achieve economical efficiencies through coordination with Product Development, Design and Development, Sourcing and other relevant teams. Understand all the details of woven garment orders from preventive stage of material & garment sample development, basic lab testing and its required tools/equipment, fabric inspection penalty points/system used, cutting, printing/embroidery, sewing, several types of wet & dry washing, finishing, packing, mold preventive control, pre-final and required final inspection. Works out with factories the Time & Action Plan for the execution of the loaded garment order. Carry out product pricing and pricing strategies to attract and develop new business. Follow up seasonal & annual budgeted export forecasting and oversee profitability of accounts and products on quarterly basis to have positive impact on company P&L account. Monitor production planning, capacity checking, reservation confirmation, weight and study report in close coordination with IE & Planning team. Monitor the quality inspection in terms of product and export activities to ensure confirmation from the respective buyer(s) upon receipt Manage complaints from the buyer in connection of shortfall or deviation from quality standard by maintaining due process through highest level of service Handling and planning overall marketing and merchandising to overall support to the Marketing/Buying section. Checking/Preparation of cost sheet, product pricing (product wise) Skilled from order execution to order implementation till shipment. Coordinate production team to ensure in timely shipment. Understanding of production process (production progress status). Good knowledge on woven fabric (denim non denim both), wash process for woven garments & accessories. Able to face any situation. Good communicate skill with customers as well as suppliers.
 

Manager – Planning

  • Professional Requirements: Applicants should have experiences in IE segment at woven factory. Must have skill to achieve production target according to the Production planning of all process. Candidate will be responsible for making effective production plan/ advance plan of the orders in consultation and coordination with Marketing and Merchandising, Production Head, IE & Supply Chain management team. Reviewing production plan with capacity and strength along with ensuring timely shipment through strong production follow-up. Prepare production planning for 60 lines (for the group) & execute the plan accordingly. Follow up all pre-production activities, update TNA. Follow up inspection & on time shipment to ensure the planning KPI is on tract. Highlight production anomalies & suggest for needful steps to concern management. Order status monitoring & regular schedule meeting with Merchandising & Marketing for order Planning & proper line allocation of the styles. Building relationship with merchandising department & Production people (store, cutting, sewing, finishing & washing) for smooth operation. Ensure the accurate & optimal capacity planning, while ensuring cost reduction & increased profitability. Manage production planning staff and scheduling of raw material to meet production schedules. Always be updated on production status whether it is meeting the production plan or not, if not then make a route cause analysis and give quick solution for a smooth operation. Arrange monthly performance meeting with higher management & discuss factory wise efficiency & shipment status. Manager – HR

  • Salary: Negotiable
  • Age Limit: not more than 55.
  • Educational Requirements: Minimum Graduate from UGC approved university. PGDHRM is preferable but not mandatory
  • Professional Requirements: Assist in formulation and implementation of HR policies. Develop JD’s for all unique roles of the organization. Formulate policies on employee retention and engagement strategies so as to reduce attrition. This position is designed for maintaining the responsibility of Factory HR and related Compliance issues. This is the leading position for payroll management and HRIS operation for the entire premises. S/He must have solid idea about disciplining employees in accordance with existing labor laws and company. Ensure that HR, Admin and Compliance teams and Unit Managers effectively supervised by planning, organizing and delegating tasks to meet company's goals and expectations. Take proper and immediate steps to improve factory’s people management conditions and take all possible steps to adhere with buyer's compliance instruction. Communicate with the concerns in Head Office for their needs in respect of administration, HR, Compliance, Production & Security issues. Preparing, organizing and managing factory audits as per buyer's requirements including various social, ethical, environmental, technical, supply chain security and QMS audits. Evaluate company culture and provide recommendation on changes to accomplish company goals and objectives. Ensure availability of effective devices/tools to Managers for selection and placement of suitable persons in the job positions to increase job efficiency. Develop and implement structured benefits and compensation systems in line of company's policies and industry practices and ensure compliance within the company. Provides measurement standards, targets and KPIs to the management team with respect to the performance management process, including both informal performance and annual formal performance appraisals. Contributes expertise to the development and delivery of performance management training manuals, policies and procedures. Develop and support the implementation of succession planning and effective Talent Management systems. To resolve employee's grievance, stress in proactive manner and manage complex team situations to build up good internal relationship among the employee. Provide employee training on compliance related topics, policies, or procedures. Liaison with BGMEA, ACCORD, Fire service, Civil Defense etc.
