Apex Footwear Limited (AFL) is the leading manufacturer, exporter and retailer of leather footwear from Bangladesh which has started its journey in 1990. Since the starting AFL is continuously increasing the quality of its products through hard work and regular innovations. AFL has two-units, Unit-1 focuses on manufacturing and exporting of quality leather footwear designed according to the latest market trends of Europe, America and Japan. On the other hand, Unit-2 which started in 2001, focuses on the local market trends and meet Bangladeshi consumers need through retail, wholesale and franchise business. AFL, Unit-2 has over 250 own retail outlets and 400 authorized resellers, and is the second largest shoe retailer of the country. AFL is professionally managed, employing over 10,000 persons and is in full compliance with Corporate Governance Compliance Report. AFL is enlisted in Dhaka Stock Exchange in July 11, 1993 and Chittagong Stock Exchange in October 22, 1995. The company generated revenues of BDT 15,808 million for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2019.

Prime Responsibilities

• Key account manager - who will be responsible as one-stop contact point for multinational client accounts
• Active participation and decision making in international sales negotiation and order management
• Relationship Management – act as key coordinator between customers and factory
• Active participation in material and production planning to deliver orders on-time
• Target based shipment management to drive continuous delivery performance
• Business Analytics to assess account health through P/L and adjust account strategies accordingly

Qualification & Other Competencies

• Graduate / Post graduate with concentration in Business from reputed business schools (IBA DU, BUP, NSU, BRAC, EWU, IUB etc.)
• At least 1 year of relevant experience, not necessarily in the same industry, would be an added advantage
• Basic/ Intermediary expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel/Power-Point /Word)
• Strong Interpersonal Skills
• Problem solving skills
• Detail oriented
• Knowledge on global fashion market/leather footwear industry will be seen as an added advantage
