Phoenix School Sylhet is a school for children with autism that is modelled on Phoenix School London, an outstanding all age special school for pupils with autism. Phoenix school London is accredited through the National Autistic Society. You will be joining an exciting project with strong leadership and committed staff who have worked in partnership with APASEN international.

We are currently looking to appoint Assistant Teachers who are able to work with children aged between 4 and 9 years old.  Candidates should ideally have some experience of working with children with special needs and have a desire to train and become excellent in this field.

Job Description/Responsibility:

Assistant Teachers will:

• Support children with Autism in the classroom
• Assist with personal care
• Complete relevant training
• Support the teacher with planning and organisation of activities
• Play with the children on the playground
• Learn how to communicate with the children using visuals

The post would suit an energetic and creative professional who is looking to make a difference to the lives of young people with autism and complex needs as well as furthering their own professional development.

Educational Requirements: Minimum Bachelor degree

Salary: TK.12,000 (Provision Period) after Provision Tk14,000 per month
