AMBER GROUP invites applications from energetic & dynamic candidates for recruitment in the following positions:
Position: Officer/ Senior Officer, Purchase
Required Qualifications & Experience:
- Masters in any discipline.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years’ relevant experience in Hotel & Resort, Retail Store, Group of Companies in Purchase Department.
Additional Requirements:
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Having sufficient knowledge of procurement.
- Good interpersonal skills and relationship building.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Seeking reliable vendors and suppliers requires a strong grasp of product sourcing and vendor Management.
- Co-ordination with user receiving purchase requisition & analysis those needs accordingly.
- Prepare purchase order as per requirement & follow-up with the supplier for on time delivery.
- Liaison with the store personnel in order to confirm the receipt of goods / materials and to find out any discrepancies with regard to quality, quantity, or any other perimeters.
- Prepare bills & Submit to Finance & Accounts department for payment.
- Regular visit to the market to find new vendors & to get actual price of the materials.
- Forecasting price and market trends and assessing suppliers' ability to ensure timely delivery of products, goods, or services are vital.
- Maintaining all purchasing-related documents such as quotations, work orders, bills, and challans is imperative.
