Position: Officer, Supply Chain Management
Educational Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor degree in Engineering (Preferably in Electrical & Electronic, Mechanical, Industrial or related discipline.
- Diploma in Supply Chain Management will be given preference
Experience
- 3 years’ experience in the related field.
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
- Good communication and coordination abilities.
- The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):
- Textile, Manufacturing, Group of Companies
Responsibilities & Context
- Identify, evaluate, and establish relationships with foreign suppliers and vendors.
- Negotiate terms and conditions, prices, and contracts to secure advantageous agreements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand the procurement needs and develop procurement plans.
- Maintain optimal inventory levels to meet production and sales requirements.
- Continuously analyze market trends to identify opportunities for cost savings.
- Process purchase orders and ensure accurate and timely delivery of materials.
- Monitor order status, resolve any issues, and communicate updates to relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of procurement activities.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including production, logistics, and finance, to streamline the supply chain process.
