EXECUTIVE SECRETARY: AKK Family Office

AKK is one of the oldest and most reputable companies in Bangladesh. As a third-generation business, AKK is a private equity company with diversified investments in SEZs, Telecommunications, Textile, Thread, Agro-business and Logistics with leading multinational companies. The Executive Secretary reports to the Chairperson of the AKK Family Office as follows:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide shareholders with comprehensive administrative support
  • Coordinate and schedule meetings
  • Provide secretarial services at meetings and events
  • Arrange family travel plans including visa, ticketing, etc for events, personal travel, etc
  • Draft, maintain and archive Meeting Agendas and Minutes on behalf of Chairperson
  • Maintain financial budgets, accounts, bills, etc
  • Arrange Shareholder transport services as required for Shareholder events
  • Maintain an effective and efficient filing system for all documents
  • Set-up and maintain Shareholder office
  • Ensure requisite logistics management, for shareholders.
  • Compose and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda and other material,
  • Maintain travel files/documents
  • Follow up meeting arrangements, mailings, correspondence and 'concierge' services
  • Coordinate and Work closely, with AKK the Head Office, Corporate Office
  • Maintain calendar and scheduling, including travel arrangements and appointment reminders
  • Manage and reconcile expense reports in a timely manner
  • Perform personal tasks such as transport, courier or IT services when required
  • Provide administrative support to family members outside activities (e.g. Board commitments, charitable activities, personal scheduling)
  • Some weekend and late night work will be required based on Shareholder meetings & activities
  • Perform other administrative duties as required

Job Nature: Full Time

WORK EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 5- 7 years corporate work experience as a Confidential Secretary to Senior management
  • Bachelor's degree from a reputable international or local university
  • Highly proficient in written and spoken English / communication, Significant experience supporting Senior Management
  • Strong interpersonal and people skills, demonstrated with superiors, clients and peers
  • Exceptional relationship-building
  • Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize work
  • Exceptional follow-up skills with attention to detail
  • A high level of diplomacy and ability to remain calm in stressful situations
  • Proactive, problem solving attitude
  • Proficiency in E-mail, Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Polite etiquette and manners

Age Limit: 28 - 40 years

Job Location: The person will be stationed in Dhaka and travel to Chittagong for meetings as and when required

Salary Range: Negotiable but most competitive package will be offered to the really deserving candidates
