Job Responsibilities
- To innovate and commercialize new products/technology and contribute to the long term growth of the food business.
- Improve upon existing products’ features or deliverables such as Product formulation, Nutritional evaluation, Process testing, Shelf life testing, Determining sensory attributes, Evaluating food safety concerns, Costing; etc.
- Adding more varieties to an already established and successful product category.
- New Product Development such as formulation development / testing, packaging development and sourcing of suppliers/materials;
- Keeping in well informed of emerging markets trends and technology advancement, selection of new ingredients and product design.
- Working seamlessly with the marketing, sales, procurement and production team to meet, translate and evaluate the consumer needs into winning products of the highest quality.
- Developing new recipes, experimenting with different ingredients and flavors combinations, and testing new production methods.
- Work with the commercial and technical team to identify opportunities and source the right suppliers to deliver the highest quality products
- Work with designers to create attractive and informative packaging and have a good relationship with the food marketing team and stores to create impactful range launches
- Conduct market analysis of key competitors’ ranges to determine further opportunities.
- Work with the buyer to develop a product development plan in line with the company requirement

Educational Requirements
- M Sc in Food Science and Technology/ B. Sc in Food Science and Technology / Diploma in Food Science and Technology
Experience Requirements
Additional Requirements
- Age at least 28 years
- 2 years experiences in food manufacturing companies.
Job Location
- Dour, Turag, Uttara, Dhaka.
