Position: Assistant Manager - QC

Job Responsibilities

  • To develop, implement, oversee policies and procedures to ensure that the food produced is safe, in correct quality and meets all Regulatory requirements.
  • To ensure consumer expectations regarding qualities and sensory attributes are being met by using the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) preventive controls and prerequisite programs and Microbiology testing.
  • To oversees all aspects of Food Safety and Quality in a Food producing establishment.
  • Understanding customers needs and requirements to develop effective quality control process.
  • Devising and reviewing specifications for products or processes. Setting requirements for raw material or intermediate products for suppliers and monitoring their compliance.
  • Reviewing customer requirements and making sure they are met;
  • Maintain and control health and safety setting standards of procedure.
  • Making sure that manufacturing or production processes meet the international /national standard and regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and handle the reducing of waste and increasing efficiency.
  • Making required changes and improvements and how to implement them;
  • Inspect incoming and finished products to ensure compliance to company standards
  • Perform quality control tests and maintain records of results
  • Evaluate the quality of Food produced by the company
  • Evaluating the cleanliness of Equipment, utensils and work areas of factory
  • Conducts hazards analysis and monitors quality measures to set the standard for Quality Assurance
  • Perform quality control checks and generate QC reports for incoming and outgoing products to ensure that they meet quality and safety standards. 
  • Perform sensory evaluation for incoming raw materials to ensure consistent quality and for product improvement
  • Conduct QC inspection and introduce in process QC systems.
  • Provide technical and quality related assistance to other departments and Monitor packaging of finished goods.
  • Assist to maintain, source and purchase QC equipment and consumables when required
  • Assist in product development or product improvement sensory evaluation preparations when required

Employment Status: Full-time

Educational Requirements

  • M Sc  in Food Science and Technology/ B. Sc  in Food Science and Technology / Diploma in Food Science and Technology 

Experience Requirements

  • At least 5 year(s)
  • The applicants should Skilled in Physical, Chemical, and Microbiological testing of processed food.  Knowledge in legal activities& ISO-HACCP documentation.

Additional Requirements

  • Age at least 30 years
  • 3 years experiences in food manufacturing companies.

Job Location

  • Dour, Turag, Uttara, Dhaka.

Salary

  • Negotiable
