FACULTY APPOINTMENT NOTICE

1. The Army Institute of Business Administration (AIBA), Savar invites applications for two (2) positions (1×Finanace and 1×BBA General) of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor in Finance and General BBA. Candidates must meet the following qualifications:

Professor
 Tk. 1,20000 Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have: -
  1. A Ph.D. or an MPhil and  General  MBA /MBA in Finance along with a four (4) year General BBA or BBA in Finance from a public university. Minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent First Class
  2. The minimum GPA in both SSC and HSC examinations (or equivalent examinations) must be 4.50 on a 5.00 scale or its equivalent respectively.

Experiences:

  1. Candidates holding a Ph.D. degree must have at least 12 years of teaching experience, including 4 years as an Associate Professor.
  2. Candidates holding an MPhil degree must have at least 15 years of teaching experience, including 4 years as an Associate Professor.
  3. Candidates holding a Master’s degree must have at least 20 years of teaching experience, including 7 years as an Associate Professor.

Publications: Candidates must have at least 15 publications, of which 8 must have been published while serving as an Associate Professor.
Associate professor
 Tk. 100000 Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have: -
  1. A Ph.D. or an MPhil and  General  MBA /MBA in Finance along with a four (4) year General BBA or BBA in Finance from a public university. Minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent First Class
  2. The minimum GPA in both SSC and HSC examinations (or equivalent examinations) must be 4.50 on a 5.00 scale or its equivalent respectively.

Experiences

  1. Candidates holding a Ph.D. or equivalent degree must have at least 7 years of teaching experience, including 3 years as an Assistant Professor.
  2. Candidates holding an MPhil or equivalent degree must have at least 10 years of teaching experience, including 3 years as an Assistant Professor.
  3. Candidates holding a Master’s or equivalent degree must have at least 12 years of teaching experience, including 4 years as an Assistant Professor.

Publications: Candidates must have at least 6 publications, of which 4 must have been published while serving as an Assistant Professor.
Assistant Professor
 Tk. 70000 Educational Qualifications: Candidates must have: -
  1. A Ph.D. or an MPhil or General  MBA /MBA in Finance along with a four (4) year General BBA or BBA in Finance from a public university. Minimum CGPA of 3.50 on a 4.00 scale or equivalent First Class
  2. The minimum GPA in both SSC and HSC examinations (or equivalent examinations) must be 4.50 on a 5.00 scale or its equivalent respectively.

Experience

  1. Candidates holding a Ph.D. or equivalent degree must have at least 1 year of teaching/research experience.
  2. Candidates holding an MPhil or equivalent degree must have at least 2 years of teaching/research experience.
  3. Candidates holding a Master’s or equivalent degree must have at least 3 years of teaching/research experience.

Publications: Candidates must have at least 4 publications, of which 1 must have been published while serving as Lecturer.

2. In addition to gross salary, the faculty members are also entitled with two festival allowances and a Bangla New Year allowance in a year. Other renumerations, such as for script evaluation, question paper preparation, are also applicable as per BUP policy.
