Deputy Assistant Manager, SCM
Job Location: Banani, Dhaka
Department: Supply Chain Management
Key Responsibilities:
- Follow up with Bank for LC Open and Documentation.
- Having sound knowledge of Clearing & Forwarding (C&F), Import & regulations etc.
- Follow up with Supplier & Shipment Schedule
- Preparing L/C Closing statement & report to management.
- Be familiar with the required items for purchase and their market availability
- Prepare CS and Purchase order as per approval
- Track and monitor all costs related information to local purchase and ensure payment is made such that materials are available as per time committed
- Negotiate delivery time with suppliers to ensure materials are dispatched as per agreed ETD
- Verify received items by comparing the purchase order Document, Track and Maintain a database of all orders updated and generate periodic reports
Pre-requisites to apply:
- BBA from reputed university (Major in SCM preferred)
- 1-3 years’ experience in relevant field.
- Good communication & convincing skills with computer literacy.
- Hard working & energetic
- Age Maximum 32 years.
