In Bangladesh, ACTED started its activities in 2017 in order to respond to the Rohingya Refugee Crisis in the sector of Site Management, Natural Resource Management, Community Based Protection,Information Management, Drain Monitoring & Intervention, Emergency Preparedness Response, & SuLMER & CDCS in the Camps of the Kutupalong-Balukhali Expansion Site, Cox’s Bazar. |

Key roles and responsibilities |
HR & Admin:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Dhaka office and guesthouse, ensuring the timely submission and payment of all related bills, including utilities and maintenance.
- Support the management of HR-related matters in coordination with the HR Manager, ensuring the accurate tracking and documentation of leave forms, attendance records, and other essential HR documents.
- Conduct market assessments in Dhaka on an ad-hoc basis, providing up-to-date insights as needed for procurement and operational planning.
- Report all relevant HR and grievance issues to the HR Manager promptly, ensuring timely updates and the accurate maintenance of records, while fostering transparent communication within the office.
- Assist in the recruitment and onboarding process for the Dhaka office, ensuring compliance with all recruitment procedures and contributing to an efficient and effective hiring process.
Logistics
- Assist Logistics in gathering quotations for supplies required from Dhaka-based vendors.
- Collaborate with Logistics to create a comprehensive supplier database for Dhaka-based suppliers.
- establish Framework Agreements for office essentials, including office supplies, water supplies, and printing/printing consumables.
- Perform a monthly inventory check of all equipment and assets, ensuring timely submission to the Logistics department.
Finance:
- In charge of the base’s Safe and of all operations related to money in Dhaka.
- Petty Cash Management
- Making payments for all items and services which have been approved by the CFM/DFM/CD
- Weekly & Monthly Reporting and Accountability
- Ensure compliance with all Finance Transactions and procedures
TCI
- Assist in collecting NGOAB, tax office, accounting firm related documents from Dhaka.
- Assist in collecting proof of completion documents from Dhaka.

Required qualifications and technical expertise |
The candidate must have the following educational degree
- Excellent academic qualifications, including a Bachelor’s degree in relevant discipline;
- 2-3 years of relevant working experience in a humanitarian setting.

Selection Criteria |
- Experience with procurement, asset management or other logistics related activities
- Experience with recruitment or other HR related activities
- Excellent analytical skills.
- Familiarity with the humanitarian coordination system an asset
- Experience managing budgets an assets.
- Good understanding of the Bangladesh context.
- Fluency in standard Bangla and English required
- A sense of curiosity and a drive to work to improve the humanitarian sector.
- Alignment in organizational value and code of conduct.
- Excellent communication skills and external engagement.
- Excellent Time Management Skills.
- Independent, adaptable, flexible, and hardworking.
- Strong skills with the Microsoft Office 365.
