In Bangladesh, ACTED started its activities in 2017 in order to respond to the Rohingya Refugee Crisis in the sector of Site Management, Natural Resource Management, Community Based Protection,Information Management, Drain Monitoring & Intervention, Emergency Preparedness Response, & SuLMER & CDCS in the Camps of the Kutupalong-Balukhali Expansion Site, Cox’s Bazar. |

Key roles and responsibilities |
Daily Basis:
- Every day: Ensure of having daily exchange rates of currency
- Voucher & Cashbook: Filling of voucher(s) & registration of voucher(s) in cashbook and scanning
- Payment: Make payments for all items and services which have been approved by the CFM/CD
- Field Payments: Makes all payments for volunteers and daily workers in the camps (this includes preparation of payment sheets prior to field payment)
- Safe & Cashbook checking: At the end of each day, the cashbook and the safe should be checked and the balance should correspond.
- Money Exchange Dealing: Whenever needed, change money for the cashbooks and register it in the cashbook.
- Money Transfer Dealing: Registration and exchange of voucher reference between Country Office and area/HQ.
- Make Voucher: Prepare a related Voucher for making payment & transferring money timely manner.
- Scan & Archive Voucher: Scan and archive all vouchers along with payment-related supporting documents on the ACTED archive platform.
Monthly Basis:
- At the end of each month: The balance in the cashbook and in the safe should be checked and the cash checking statement should be established and signed by the cashier and his CFM/SFO
- Vouchers: Quality of vouchers should be checked by the Cashier at the end of each month
- Cashbook: Cashbook should be checked before closing the accounting month
- Advances: Ensure the clearance of all advances for the staff, before paying the salary
- Money transport: Responsible for transporting money to the camps.
- Cash request procedures & Vendor Payments: Completing Cash request procedures and Vendor Payments in coordination with Logistics and Program.
General:
- Commit to the humanitarian principles of strict neutrality, religious and political impartiality, and non-discrimination.
- Report and clarify any work-related issues and challenges to the supervisor in a timely manner.
- Respect time including work, meetings, deadlines, and other reasonable requests.
- Maintain a good team spirit and stimulating working environment amongst staff and colleagues.
- Commit to honest, high-quality work in all aspects of responsibilities.
- Be solution-driven
- Consider safety and security in the field, and immediately report all incidents to the security focal point.
- Support the department for any specific task necessary for the mission, such as physical and digital filing, specific reconciliations (cash for work), etc.
- Undertake any other tasks as reasonably assigned by the line manager.

Selection Criteria |
- At least Two years of experience in related field
- Knowledge of financial systems and procedures.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- High level of honesty and integrity.
- Excellent written and verbal English and Bangla.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in teams and multi-cultural environments.
- Habituated to extensive field visits.
- Female candidates will be given priority.
