In Bangladesh, ACTED is launching an emergency operation to respond to the Rohingya Refugee Crisis in the sector of Site Management, Disaster Risk Reduction, Community Based Protection, Information Management, Emergency Preparedness, and Response, CDCS in the Camps of the Kutupalong-Balukhali Expansion Site, Cox’s Bazar.

Key roles and responsibilities

The Support Staff will be responsible for the following tasks:

  • Greet Visitors in a Professional Manner
  • Provide visitors with information and direct them accordingly
  • Act as organizational receptionist and recieve calls & guests
  • Regularly check and maintain record of necessary office supplies
  • Monitor and manage inventory of office supplies, order, distribute,office supplies as necessary
  • Keep the hygine and tidiness of kitchen/lunch areas and make sure the refrigeratorare clean all the time.
  • Sorted out kitchen staff in daily basis and make sure to remove spoiled food stuff.
  • Provide other support to the all department as required
  • Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
  • Perform other administrative support task, including updating and sorting files,drafting and proofreding correspondance and conducting research.
Required qualifications and technical expertise

The candidate must have the following educational degree

  • Higher Secondary degree with 2/3 years of experience
  • Diploma in any relevant subject with 1/2 years experience
Selection Criteria
  • Good in written and spoken English & Bangla.
  • Proven experience in working with similar position.
  • Excellent knowledge of managing guest.
  • Flexibility and adaptability are essential, as well as the ability to plan, take initiative and organize work independently.
  • Positive attitude and a willingness to learn
  • Comfortable working in a cross-cultural environment
