Post: Senior Executive - Factory Administration (Canteen)

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, organize & monitor day to day operations of canteen, including rostering of canteen workers, daily stock and record-keeping, opening/closing of canteen, preparation & cooking to uphold food service.
• Train canteen staffs in the food preparation and other procedures to maintain maximum standard during ceremonial and regular food delivery service to the factory employees/other guests or visitors.
• Check and ensure food safety plan is in place to ensure correct hygiene practices are performed to prevent food spoilage, wastage, contamination and subsequent food poisoning.
• Ensure all canteen workers are familiar with correct food handling and hygiene practices in line with relevant guideline.
• Maintain canteen security functions such as keys, alarms, locking all doors/windows, switching on/off appliances and ensure authorized entry to the canteen.
• Look after that canteen cleaning is carried out in accordance to prerequisite of food safety plan and respective SOPs.
• Maintain Canteen Management Software, input required data regularly and take immediate action against anomalies found, if any.

Required Qualifications & Competencies:

• Graduation preferably from Hospitality Management/Food and Beverage Management from any recognized institution.
• Minimum 5 years of professional work experience in canteen operation and supervision.
• Candidates having experience in factory canteen will be given preference.
• Excellent guest and other high official dealing and communication skills (both in English and Bangla) will be desired.
• The incumbent should be self-driven to work under pressure, result oriented with ‘can do’ attitude and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Age limit 38 (Thirty eight) years. But it may be relaxed for qualified candidates.
