| Assistant Manager, Automation & Process Improvement
for Corporate-Supply Chain Department
Strategic Outlook of the Role

This position leads process excellence and digital adoption across SCM, reducing manual workload, eliminating bottlenecks, and enabling data-driven decisions through strong MIS collaboration.
Job Responsibilities

-
Analyze current SCM processes (procurement, inventory, logistics) and identify gaps, bottlenecks & data issues.

Develop optimized To-Be workflows using automation and MIS solutions.

Gather user requirements and convert them into clear URS/Functional Specs.
-
Act as the SPOC for SCM in all automation, ERP & system improvement projects.
-
Coordinate with MIS for solution design, development, testing & deployment.
-
Drive project planning, tracking, reporting & User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
-
Lead master data cleansing (Material & Vendor Master) and enforce data governance.
-
Build MIS reports/dashboards for SCM insights and data visibility.
-
Lead/mentor junior team members on process documentation & support.
-
Prepare training materials and conduct user training on new processes/systems.

We Require

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

A Master's degree will be an advantage.
-
5–7 years’ relevant experience, including 2–3 years in ERP, process improvement, or business analysis roles.

Skills & Competencies

Strong understanding of end-to-end SCM processes.

Proficient in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart).

Advanced MS Excel with solid MS Office skills.
-
Basic SQL/database and ERP architecture knowledge.

Experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau) preferred.

Strong change management and user adoption skills.
-
Ability to reduce master data errors and improve SCM metrics.
-
Track record of automating/improving processes.
-
Ensures high user satisfaction with systems/reports.
-
Consistently delivers projects on time and within budget.
